Transformer Bushings
Transformer Bushings are insulated components that allow an electrical conductor to pass safely through the grounded wall or tank of a transformer while maintaining the required electrical insulation, mechanical support and dielectric strength. They are critical transformer components, particularly for medium- and high-voltage applications. IEC 60137 specifies characteristics and tests for insulated bushings used with transformers and other electrical equipment above 1,000 V.
